How we teach

How we teach: we measure the gaps, then teach to them.

Most tutoring is guesswork — a tutor hopes they’re covering the right thing. We do the opposite. Each student gets a dedicated course on our platform, quizzes and teacher notes show exactly which topics are weak, and every 1-on-1 hour is spent closing those gaps. It saves a huge amount of time for everyone.

Online 1-on-1 · diagnostic-led · we collect only what helps you learn.

The method

Five steps, every student

1

Diagnostic first

Every engagement starts by mapping you against the actual syllabus and exam — not a generic placement test. We find out where you really stand before a single lesson is planned.

2

Your own course on our platform

Each student gets a dedicated internal course. As you work through it, short quizzes record your proficiency at the topic and sub-topic level — a precise, living picture of what you have and have not mastered.

3

Identify the gaps

Quiz analytics plus the teacher’s in-class notes pinpoint exactly which topics and question types are costing you marks. No guesswork about what to revise.

4

Targeted 1-on-1 teaching

Live, one-to-one and online — we repair the weak concept first, then drill it with exam-style practice. Hours go to the gaps, never to what you already know.

5

Re-test & track

We re-test each gap and confirm it is closed before moving on. Progress is visible, and the plan stays honest from one session to the next.

Your data

We collect only what helps you learn

Good teaching needs an honest picture of where a student stands — nothing more. So we keep our data narrow and purposeful: enough to find and fix gaps, never anything intrusive.

What we track

Course content & progress

Which topics you have covered and where you are in your dedicated course.

Topical & sub-topical proficiency

Quiz results that show, topic by topic, what you have mastered and what still needs work.

In-class teacher notes

The tutor’s observations on how you think through problems — so the next session builds on the last.

What we don’t
  • No intrusive personal data — we don’t mine your private life to teach maths.
  • No selling or sharing of student data with third parties for advertising.
  • No tracking beyond what directly informs your learning plan.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is Shrividhya’s teaching methodology?

It is diagnostic-led and data-light. We start with a diagnostic, give each student a dedicated course on our platform, and use quizzes plus the teacher’s in-class notes to find exactly which topics are weak. Then every 1-on-1 hour is spent closing those specific gaps and re-testing until they are fixed. It saves an enormous amount of time for both the student and the tutor.

What student data do you collect — and what don’t you?

We collect only what helps you learn: your course content and progress, your topical and sub-topical proficiency from quizzes, and the teacher’s in-class notes. We do not collect intrusive personal data, we don’t sell or share student data for advertising, and we don’t track anything beyond what informs your learning plan.

How does collecting this data actually help me?

Because the gaps are measured rather than guessed, no lesson time is wasted re-teaching what you already know. The tutor walks into every session knowing precisely what to fix — which is faster, less stressful and more effective than generic revision.

Is the teaching really 1-on-1 and online?

Yes. Every session is live, one-to-one and online over secure video, scheduled around your timezone and exam calendar. The platform and data support the human teaching — they never replace it.
