The Shrividhya IGCSE Maths Course
A structured Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics programme — 0580 Core & Extended, 0607 International, and 0606 Additional Mathematics — delivered one-on-one, live and online. For students in Thailand, India, UAE, Singapore & the UK, with ICT, IST & GMT timezone slots.
What the course covers
We teach the full Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics family one-on-one. 0580 is mainstream IGCSE Mathematics with Core and Extended tiers — Number, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics and Probability. Most mainstream Year 10–11 students aim for A*/A at the Extended tier, a solid grounding for A-Level Maths.
0607 (International Mathematics) covers the same ground as 0580 Extended but adds graphics-calculator techniques and investigation skills — common at IB-pathway schools, and a workflow that carries forward into IBDP Maths AA/AI. 0606 (Additional Mathematics) is an advanced course — calculus, trigonometry and the binomial theorem — taken alongside 0580 Extended as a bridge to A-Level, giving strong students a confident start to Year 12 several months ahead.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 1-on-1 IGCSE Maths course?
It's a structured Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics programme delivered privately — one tutor, one student, every session. We map a term-wise plan against the 0580/0607/0606 syllabus, track progress weekly, and run Cambridge-style mock papers before exams. Unlike ad-hoc tuition, the plan does not change with who is available that day — you stay with the same tutor start to finish.
How much does 1-on-1 IGCSE Maths tutoring cost?
Fees depend on year group, session length (60 or 90 minutes), and package size. Multi-term packages are discounted. Request a personalized quote on WhatsApp and we'll reply with options that fit your child's year, current level, and schedule.
Do you teach IGCSE Maths students in Thailand? What timezone?
Yes — we regularly tutor students across Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai. Classes run in ICT (UTC+7) evening slots that fit after-school schedules at schools like NIST, Harrow International Bangkok, Bangkok Patana, Shrewsbury, ISB, Ruamrudee, St. Andrews and Regent's.
What's the difference between IGCSE 0580, 0606, and 0607?
0580 is mainstream IGCSE Mathematics with Core and Extended tiers. 0607 (International Mathematics) covers the same ground as 0580 Extended but adds graphics-calculator techniques and investigation tasks — common at IB-pathway schools. 0606 (Additional Mathematics) is an advanced course with calculus, trigonometry and binomial theorem, taken alongside 0580 Extended as a bridge to A-Level.
Do you cover past papers and mock exams?
Yes. Past paper practice is built into the course from Term 2 onwards. We run full Cambridge-style mock papers before mid-years and before the board exam, marked to the official Cambridge mark scheme, with detailed feedback on topics to re-work.
How many hours of Maths tutoring per week does my child need?
Most IGCSE Maths students progress well with one 60 or 90-minute session per week, plus a second session added in the run-up to mock and board exams. In the demo class we assess your child's current level and suggest a weekly cadence that actually fits their schedule.
Can we start mid-term or only at the start of the academic year?
You can start at any point in the year. The course plan is rebuilt from whatever your child already knows — we run a short diagnostic in the demo class to identify gaps, then prioritise the topics needed for their next school assessment.
Do you offer a free trial class?
Yes. The demo class is free and is typically 30 minutes. It's a diagnostic session — we check current level, explain how the 1-on-1 course runs, and recommend a starting plan. No commitment to continue.
What platform do you use for classes?
Classes are delivered live over Zoom or Google Meet — whichever your family already uses. Sessions are recorded on request so students can revisit explanations later. We also send a whiteboard PDF of each session's working.
Can a tutor help my child jump from Core to Extended?
Yes, provided we start early enough in Year 10 or early Year 11. The jump is mostly about four topic clusters — algebra, functions, trigonometry and probability — that need to be built up before mocks. We run a focused plan on exactly those topics.
We'll assess where you are and build a focused 1-on-1 plan.
